AKC CH. Acton Gracy BluByu v
Grimloc
Bred by: Christine
& Roger Parker -- --
The year Gracy was born both her parents were top winning in their breed in the USA and shortly upon becoming just 6 months old Gracy in turn started to be shown. At 7 months of age - immediately going Best of Breed over specials, and just a few months later going Best Puppy in Show at an International All Breed Show. But, before she finished her championship she took a short leave of absence to have a wonderful litter of 10 puppies sired by the new 'National BISS' winner Ch. Willynwoods Redneck. From this litter came Ch. Grimloc's Woodys Gone Rudy, who has several outstanding offspring in the mainland USA, Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Hawaii (as chilled sperm was transported for a breeding in the great down under several years ago). Gracy went on to finish her championship and have three more litters to: Tuf-E-Nuf Tommy Gunn, her grandson (a son of Rudy) Ch. RootNtootN's Ruff N Ready (aka "Redford") and BIS/BISS Ch. Buena Vista Honkitonk Romeo. From several generations of almost exclusive line breeding this line is stabilizing with elegance, "grace", stamina, substance, bone and most of all predictable gentile temperaments and personalities. One of Gracy's daughters by Redford, Grimloc's Peek-a-Boo Byu has several agility titles with high ranked national standings, especially in the timed event portions of jumps and weaves. Then Grandchildren started winning - with "Redford" taking Best of Breed at an STCA supported entry show while his daughter took WB, BW and Best Opposite. A Grand-son is France's top winning and siring AmStaff Grimloc's Grins (besides being national dog magazine cover dog - centerfold and poster dog as representative of the breed). Grins is the son of Ch. Grimloc's Radacious Gilda (a Rudy litter sister) sired by Tuf E Nuf Tommy Gunn. Then comes along the next generation with AKC/Japan Ch. Michl R Musashi the 1999 Jr. World winner (World Show - Mexico City) and now along with his sister also top winner(s) in Japan. And yet another generation or two of National and Regional Specialty winners and top statistic campaigners. Back on the home front; Gracy last year came out of retirement at a regional Specialty to win Veteran Sweepstakes and Classes and a month later at an all breed show Best Opposite of Breed from the Veteran Class over the younger special females. Gracy is still pointing and holding pheasants on hunting trips that could embrace the best of the sporting dogs, or assisting herding horses when asked. All her owners have to do is bring out a shotgun and cock a shell into its' chambers and Gracy is 'ready to go - and get the Bird'; but on the contrast she will lick and clean any person, child, other dog, puppy, baby chicken, kitten or bunny that is presented to her. "What a boon GRACY is for the AmStaff world, truly an all-round dog, excelling in the show ring, as a producer, working dog and companion. Temperament PLUS!" This Profile also included colored pictures of Rudy, Peek-a-Boo and of Gracy being shown by our great niece Annalicia, (same picture Cameo'd on Gracy's page) when they were both 9 yrs. old. -- Annalicia's dream was to show 'her' beloved Gracy and we finally let her do it to the great win at the specialty.
